Michael Monteith Jr.
Deep Creek Boatyard is operated by Merrimac Dock and Dredge, LLC which was founded by Michael Monteith. Michael is a graduate of Old Dominion University (2002) with an undergraduate degree in Business administration: Followed by an MBA from Averett University in 2006.
Though college educated, Michael prefers to spend his time in the field with boots on the ground. He takes his trades extremely seriously and prides himself on a job well done. Michael is happily married with two daughters who make the hard work worth the effort. When not working for a living he enjoys sailing his restored Pearson 365 Ketch - S/V Talisman on the Chesapeake Bay.
Michael Monteith Sr.
A Retired USCG Officer and graduate of Ball State and Clemson. Michael Sr. ran a marine repair business for 20 years based out of Cobb's Marina in Norfolk, VA. His expertise spans from very rare antique motorcycles to marine diesel engines.
